Clean Game and IWWF Join Forces in Anti-Doping Activities – Recetto 2025
The 2025 IWWF World Open Waterski Championships were held from 27–31 August 2025 at the Parco Nautico del Sesia in Recetto, Italy. Throughout the entire tournament, Clean Game acted as the official Sample Collection Authority (SCA), ensuring doping controls were carried out across all competition days.
The cooperation between Clean Game and the International Waterski & Wakeboard Federation (IWWF) was marked by excellent coordination and professionalism. Special recognition goes to Gery Propst, Chairman of the IWWF Anti-Doping Committee, whose leadership and support ensured that all procedures ran smoothly and to the highest standards.
A key role was also played by Dr. Marija Anđelković, who served both as a Doping Control Officer (DCO) and the IWWF Anti-Doping Manager. Her dual responsibilities allowed her to be fully engaged in both the organizational and operational aspects of testing, further strengthening the integrity of the anti-doping program.
This collaboration underlines IWWF’s and Clean Game’s shared commitment to fair play and the protection of athlete health and sport integrity.
