Our Services

Testing

Urine tests

Our Doping Control Officers are specially trained to carry out urine tests strictly according to the International standard of testing and investigation, at the same time respecting guidelines of the respected sports federation. We send urine tests to WADA accredited laboratory in Seibersdorf and collaborates with all primary courier services, but we always try to deliver sample directly to the laboratory. The results of the analysis are sent directly and only to the sports federation if Clean Game does not manage them.

Blood tests

All Doping Control Officers are Blood Collection Officers. Since different blood samples need to be analyzed up to 120 hours from collection, Clean Game has the appropriate organization, logistics, and experience required to accomplish that task.

Dried blood spot (DBS) is a quick and easy way to take blood to test for the prohibited substances. It involves puncturing the skin enough to produce a few drops of blood that are collected on a filter card, dried, and sent to a laboratory.

DBS testing has many benefits for athletes:

  • It's faster. It takes about two minutes and athletes do not have to wait after exercising.
  • It is less invasive.
  • It is easy to sample for athletes with physical impairments.
  • It is easier to transport,
  • It can be stored longer and
  • It offers greater opportunities for retesting.

DBS will not replace traditional testing, but it is a valuable additional tool in the fight against doping in sports. From 2022 several Clean Game Doping Control Officers are trained to perform Dried blood spot (DBS).

Out-of-Competition Tests

Out-of-competition testing is essential for every organization that would like to be Code compliant and who wants to have a credible antidoping program. Clean Game is organizing out of competition testing for The International Mountaineering and Climbing Federation (UIAA), The International Skyrunning Federation (ISF), The International Waterski & Wakeboard Federation (IWWF), and Rugby League International Federation (IRL).

Clean Game is using ADAMS, which helps to monitor athletes' whereabouts throughout the year. At the same time, we are offering service of running the Registered testing pool. Out-of-competition tests are run according to International standards and the international federation's specific rules.

In-Competition Tests

Organizing international sports events is becoming increasingly complicated, particularly for doping controls, which requires fast analysis as event organizers often lack the equipment, people and know-how necessary to carry out tests. Doping Control Officers are so experienced in international events organizations since they are involved in regular daily work in their respective countries. We offer the full range of competition doping control services, including urine and blood testing. Contracts can be signed for one competition at a time or an extended period.

We can put as much as necessary Doping Control Officers into action anywhere in the world since we are presenting and working with various national antidoping agencies. Clean Game supplies all the required documents and doping control equipment that has been approved by the WADA or the international federation. Clean Game was conducting competition controls on behalf of the International Basketball Federation for Europe (FIBA Europe) for ten years.

ADAMS Management

Clean Game has a contract with 6 International federations and 2 NADO’s to use ADAMS (The Anti-Doping Administration and Management System) to help them by entering DCFs and TUEs, as well as monitor whereabouts throughout the year. For some of them, we are running the Registered testing pool following data protection legislation.

Athlete Biological Passport

Clean Game is gathering and collating data for Athlete Biological Passport as described in the International Standard for Testing and Investigations and International Standard for Laboratories.

Therapeutic Use Exemptions (TUE)
